Our Team
At Venus Healthcare, our high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism is led by our team’s unwavering dedication and in-house expertise. Our compassionate and experienced staff are the heart of our organisation, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where each person’s unique needs, strengths, and preferences are understood, respected, and addressed.
By establishing clear expectations, building life skills, and using positive reinforcement, our team provides a nurturing atmosphere in which individuals feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow. With the support of our in-house Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), residents are taught coping strategies and self-regulation techniques that help them manage their emotions and navigate daily challenges more confidently.
Our strong commitment to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is reflected in our proactive approach to preventing and responding to behaviours of concern. Rather than reacting to incidents in isolation, our staff explore the underlying causes and work collaboratively to develop tailored support plans that encourage positive outcomes and improve quality of life. This approach is overseen by our Strategic PBS Director, Dr Jason Crabtree, who develops and delivers our PBS policy and internal training.
Continuous improvement is central to our work. We invest in ongoing staff training, carry out regular policy reviews, and use structured assessments to ensure our practice remains safe, effective, and aligned with current PBS guidance and wider best practice.
At Venus Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is not defined by frameworks alone but by the people who deliver it. Our team’s passion, dedication, and specialist knowledge are the foundation of our success – enabling us to provide consistently high-quality, person-centred care that supports residents to lead meaningful, fulfilling, and empowered lives.
