Our Team

At Venus Healthcare, our exceptional care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism is driven by our team’s unwavering dedication and in-house expertise. Our compassionate and experienced staff members are the heart of our organisation, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where each individual’s unique needs are understood and addressed.

Through establishing clear expectations, encouraging life skills, and positive reinforcement techniques, our team creates a nurturing atmosphere where individuals feel safe and empowered to thrive. Through the interventions of our in-house MDT, residents are taught coping skills and self-regulation mechanisms, empowering them to manage their emotions effectively and navigate life’s challenges.

Our team’s commitment to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is evident in their proactive approach to preventing and addressing challenging behaviours. They go beyond simply reacting to situations; instead, they delve into the underlying causes, enabling them to develop individualised strategies that promote positive behavioural patterns. This policy and internal training is devised and delivered by our Strategic PBS Director, Dr Jason Crabtree.

Our commitment to continuous improvement ensures that our team remains at the forefront of PBS and general best practices. We invest in ongoing staff training, conduct regular policy reviews, and utilise regular assessments to refine our approach and deliver the best possible care.

We believe that exceptional care is not just about methodologies and frameworks; it’s about the people who deliver it. Our team’s passion, dedication, and expertise is the cornerstone of our success, enabling us to provide the highest quality of care that empowers our residents to lead fulfilling lives.
