In-house Multidisciplinary Team with Expert Panel

Recognising the complexity of care required for individuals with complex support needs, we work with our in-house Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) as needed. This team includes professionals in Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy. Collaboration with local health and social care providers ensures a holistic approach to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

Through establishing clear expectations, encouraging life skills, and positive reinforcement techniques, our team creates a nurturing atmosphere where individuals feel safe and empowered to thrive. Through the interventions of our in-house MDT, residents are taught coping skills and self-regulation mechanisms, empowering them to manage their emotions effectively and navigate life’s challenges.

The MDT process is supported by an Expert Panel comprised of Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Psychotherapist with over 100 year of combined clinical experience between them.

“Tony had a history of sexually inappropriate behaviour, which resulted in involvement with the criminal justice system and a three-year stay in a secure hospital. Following discharge, he moved to our Step-Down shared accommodation, where he received weekly Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) input, including support from an Occupational Therapist and our PBS team, under the oversight of Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).

With structured support, clear risk management strategies, and opportunities to build positive routines, Tony now spends his time playing football, cycling, and socialising with friends.”
