Work With Us

Do you share the Venus values?

We are always open to approaches from committed individuals seeking to develop a career in care delivery and care management. When joining us as carers, some experience in care is desirable but not essential, since we offer in-depth training and a comprehensive induction programme. What matters most is that applicants have a real sense of vocation and an unlimited capacity for going the extra mile.

Venus supports team members to gain further qualifications and is consistently looking to foster talent and promote people with exemplary ideas and management capabilities. Each new member of staff will be mentored by a senior colleague and have regular performance reviews with the home manager.

If you are applying for more senior roles as advertised it is beneficial if you have a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or the equivalent NVQ if studied before 2010). If driving forms part of the role, you must have a clean driving licence.

If there are no current vacancies in the role that you seek, please send us your CV anyway, as we would like to retain your information confidentially for when a suitable vacancy occurs.

Vacancies at Venus are advertised online at ‘Indeed’ ( and in the press of newspapers covering areas local to our homes. These include The Watford News and The Hackney Gazette. You can also send us your CV via the contact us page.

For all international applications please use the specific international email on the Contact Us page.

Our Values

We truly believe in making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people. We improve their health and wellbeing not only through the care in our Homes but also helping them to lead an active and independent life in the wider community.

We are committed to working collaboratively with the network of different agencies and families to bring together the best personal plan of care and support tailored to each and every individual in our care.

We fully embrace diversity and strive to meet everyone’s specific needs through our person-centred care plans – so that each individual can take ownership of their lives in their own way.

The value of Venus is exemplified every day in the warmth, passion and empathy we give to those directly in our care, and also to their families. This ethos is extended to all members of staff and the many professionals who work with us.

We are accountable for everything we do and transparent in our actions. As an independent, family-orientated team we welcome constructive feedback and value everyone’s contribution to improving our service.

We are 100% committed to achieving what is best for our residents, families and staff, and will consistently endeavour to help them attain their desired goals. We are experienced enough to know that only team work, flexibility and a hopeful outlook can achieve positive outcomes.
